To uphold our mission of cultivating student success and advancing regional economic development, we've established the following guidelines for our SCC Student Job Bank. As members of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), we ask that our employers be familiar with and honor the published by NACE.

To maintain our institution's standards, we do not permit listings for the following:

Personal or Home-Related Service Requests:
Our job bank caters primarily to established businesses seeking employees for professional roles. Consequently, we do not directly post personal or home-related service requests, such as home assistance or caregiving roles. For these personal services, consider using local classified ads or community boards. NOTE: if these services are provided through a certified agency or a recognized organization, they may be eligible for posting. Please contact us if you have questions about whether your posting fits these requirements.

Contractual and Commission Roles

Posts for independent contracts and commission positions are accepted if clearly detailed. To ensure this clarity, please include the following key information in your postings:

A connection may be made with students who have directly applied to your opportunities. When reaching out to students, clearly state your organization and role of interest. Ensure all communications come from your official organizational email. In compliance with the (FERPA), SCC does not provide employers with direct contact information for students.
