Students who enroll in classes at 色中色 but will not complete a degree are called visiting students.   This includes Emergency Medical Technician, Nursing Assistant, and students who enroll in courses for enrichment purposes.

Visiting students do not need to apply for admission to the college.

Visiting students are allowed to enroll in classes on a different schedule than degree-seeking students. Please see our registration dates page for information on registration dates for visiting students.

Visiting students must also meet the necessary course prerequisites to be eligible for registration. If you are unable to register and believe you have met the prerequisite(s) please complete our . You will get a response to the form via email.

Visiting students are encouraged to register and pay for classes via . In order to register via you will need a StarID and password.

• If you have previously applied to or attended another MinnState college or university, your StarID will remain the same.
  • If you are unable to login to eServices with your StarID or if you forgot your StarID and/or password, please go to .
• If you do not already have a StarID, please go to create a StarID.

To make a payment, click the Bills and Payments link in following your completed registration. Or see the Payment Options page for more information.

• Visiting students who are utilizing third-party payments, may complete the Registration Form for Non-Degree Seeking Student form, or they may register online via and complete the Authorization for Payment form. The Authorization for Payment form must be provided to us before the payment due date of each semester.

To register as a visiting student:

1. Search for Classes
2. Register online via  (or for those utilizing third-party payments, fill out and submit the paper Registration Form for Non-Degree Seeking Student with the payment or billing information).
3. Submit payment online via or to the 色中色 Campus Store. Be sure to meet the payment deadlines to avoid course cancellation for non-payment.
