Pre/Corequisites
Prerequisite: Admission into the Paramedic Program. All Classes must be taken in sequence.

Course Competencies
- Examine real world scenarios for the assessment and management of emergency patients.
- Integrate the physiological, psychological, and sociological changes throughout human development with assessment and communication strategies for patients of all ages.
- Integrates knowledge of pathophysiology of major human systems.
- Differentiate between different pathophysiological systems and relationships when treating patients.
- Identify foundational human anatomy and physiology knowledge that is required for the paramedic profession.
