Joseph Postell is Associate Professor of Politics at Hillsdale College, where he teaches courses on American politics, Congress, Political Parties, and administrative law.聽 His research focuses primarily on American political institutions and their relationship to the modern administrative state.聽 He is the author of , and the editor of聽(with Bradley C.S. Watson), (with Johnathan O鈥橬eill), and (with Steven F. Pittz).聽 His articles have appeared in a variety of journals and law reviews, including American Political Thought, Constitutional Studies, the Georgetown Review of Law and Public Policy, Perspectives on Political Science, theReview of Politics, and Social Philosophy and Policy.聽 He is also a frequent contributor to the Liberty Fund鈥檚 website.
Professor Postell is an alumnus of Ashland University, where he was an Ashbrook Scholar.
